Requirements for University of Waterloo Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification

Strong academic record and high grades.

Meeting the specific grade or GPA requirements for each scholarship.

Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a full-time program at the University of Waterloo.

Must have a valid Canadian study permit and be registered full-time, paying international tuition fees.

Normally given to students entering the first term of their program.

Must demonstrate academic excellence as per criteria set by their Faculty.

Must meet academic progress requirements and have no outstanding probationary admission requirements.

Normally, they should not receive foreign government or agency sponsorship concurrently or be self-funded above Faculty support levels.
